Karnes North Pipeline System
Constructed in 2014, the Karnes North Pipeline System consists of a truck terminal in Falls City and 57 miles of pipe connecting upstream producers to the Calumet Refinery in San Antonio.
The project was built to provide the expanding Calumet Specialty Products Refinery with a stable supply of on-spec crude and to grow with the refinery to meet its needs. The truck terminal at Falls City is manned 24/7 and boasts a truck offloading capacity of 17,000 barrels per day with an additional 4,000 barrels of temporary storage. At capacity, the Karnes North Pipeline is capable of flowing up to 30,000 barrels per day.
